Best a recipe for a classic and comforting beef strongman

Ingredients:

1 pound (450 grams) of beef sirloin or tenderloin, thinly sliced into strips
8 ounces (about 2 cups) of egg noodles or fettuccine
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
8 ounces (about 227 grams) of white mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup sour cream
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Cook the Noodles:
Cook the egg noodles or fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until AL dent. Drain and set aside.
Saute the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef strips and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they are browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
Saute the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent. Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
Make the Sauce:
Sprinkle the flour over the mushroom mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 1-2 minutes to eliminate the raw flour taste.
Gradually add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet, stirring constantly. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
Combine with Beef and Sour Cream:
Return the cooked beef strips to the skillet with the sauce. Stir to combine and let it simmer for a few more minutes to heat the beef.
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Make sure not to boil the sauce once the sour cream is added to prevent curdling.
Season and Serve:
Season the Beef Strongman with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. If you like, you can also stir in some chopped fresh parsley for garnish.
Serve your Beef Strongman hot over the cooked noodles. It's a hearty and creamy dish that's perfect for a cozy meal.
